When: January 25th at 9:00am, 10:15am & 11:30am - or -  February 1st at 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm. You may come for any of these sessions. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session to sign-in.

Where: Soto Sports Complex - Santos Field

Who: ALL players league age 9 and older must attend one of the Skills Assessment sessions. 8 year olds that would like to tryout for the Minors Division must attend as well. If your 8 year old plans to play in the Farm Division no assessment is necessary.

What to Expect: Each session will last approximately one hour.  Each group of players will stretch, warm up, play catch, hit three pitches, field ground balls & fly balls, and run the bases.

Is this a Try Out? No, this is a skills assessment. Every child is placed on a team. Skills Assessment determines the appropriate division for each player, and it gives coaches a chance gauge a players skill level before the draft.

What do I Bring? Players should arrive ready to play in baseball pants and cleats. Bring your own glove.  You can bring your own bat (USA approved), or you may use one of the bats provided by the league.

Requirements : Players MUST be registered (and paid) for the 2020 AGVLL Season prior to attending Skills Assessment.
